Notes: The Hitt Mountains are the southernmost extension of the rugged Seven Devils Mountains. The south end of the Hitt Mountains is at Weiser. The mountains are bounded by the Weiser River to the east and by the Snake River to the west. The north end of the Hitt Mountains is East Brownlee Creek at Heath, which separates the Hitt Mountains from the Cuddy Mountains to the north.
