List "Virginia Overall Steepest 100 Peaks (P300 +23)" By wayfarer
Notes: This is a list of the overall steepest 100 ranked peaks in Virginia. Basically, this concept measures the drop, in feet, of a summit in every direction over distances of 100, 800, and 1600 meters, then averages the numbers together for a calculation of the average slope in degrees. For this list, I used a prominence cutoff of 300 feet for the top 100 peaks, but I also included all unranked peaks that scored within the steepness range of the ranked peaks, thereby making the total list contain 123 peaks.
