Potential lists to add to the existing array

Ranked Peaks on the Continental Divide

Postby John Kirk » Fri Jun 10, 2005 1:39 pm

I surmise this list would be large based on ones I've already done, though I have no idea how large as of now. I'm not sure why this list is fascinating me either, but the research and list creation seems like it would be fun. Does anyone have any objection to adding this list? Does anyone know if this list is already out there somewhere?

CO and NM now available

Postby John Kirk » Mon Jul 25, 2005 2:29 pm

I have completed the work for the first two states (CO and NM) of peaks with 300' of prominence on the Continental Divide. These lists are available for members to track their progress on here:

Peaks on the Continental Divide

There may be some minor revisions to the list over time, and obviously ranking won't happen until all peaks are included (although CO's centennials listed are already top in the order with Gannett Peak in Wyoming being next). Hopefully the other three states won't take too long. I'll update as each one is completed and added.

Wow, John - that seems like a lot of work! I'll be interested to review the list!
