Belleview - Gilpin County

Postby davebobk47 » Sat Sep 22, 2012 10:53 am

Just curious about Belleview in Gilpin County. The USGS and the road there spell it as Bellevue.

On a side note I wrecked my car coming down CO Rd 279 there. A section of (paved) road broke away at the edge and my car went into the guard rail scraping every panel on the passenger side - $6k worth of damage. If you come down that road - STAY IN THE MIDDLE!!!

Yikes - sorry to hear about the vehicle damage! If it makes you feel any better, I lost a front bumper near Beartown a week ago :wiz:
$1k to replace. But it's not coming off next time...
