Babcock Pk

We're leaving Friday afternoon & heading to the La Plata's. Would like to combine Babcock, Lavender & Moss from Tomahawk Basin. Have JOhn Kirk's description of Moss & Lavender from the Babcock/Moss saddle, but does anyone have good description of a Babcock route from Tomahawk? Saw "Furthermore's" report, but that's more winter conditions.
Beaten paths are for beaten men.

I personally feel that Babcock is the most difficult of all the La Plata's, with it 3 seperate points & rugged routes from every angle. When you are approaching from Tomahawk basin, attain the sharp ridge (arete) between Moss & Babcock.
I tried to stay on top but had to veer to the west a few times. The climb up Babcock from this ridge is challenging but rewarding and you will summit the middle point which is the highest. Unless you want a real challenge don't mess with the other two points. Enjoy, Mark
