The Brother

Perhaps you guys have talked about this before, but is The Brother at the wrong coordinates in the database?

This JeffCo map seems to suggest that The Brother is a 7820' summit south of the Three Sisters somewhere around these coordinates: 39.62605, -105.34901

Oh Brother....Toliet
I thought I remembered finding a register at the 7902 point indicating it was The Brother. I did change the location intentionally, but I'm not 100% on why. Maybe Jeremy has a recollection?

Verificado!

Went up there last night. There is also a Forest Service BM up there on the summit of The Brother. Sure wish I could access their database for BM elevations! Anyone have any ideas there?

John - I think you found one of the 27 stupid geocaches up there when you were up there. Evidently, there also used to be an ammo box geocache on The Brother, but it has recently disappeared. Now, if you ask why there are freakin' 27 geocaches in this park, I have no answer. DUMB.

On a fun note, all of that gneiss that has potholes is FULL of water, and frogs are using it as breeding grounds - frogs on the summit of The Brother! Cool!

That's pretty cool! The potholes on top of 8565 were full of water too, but I didn't see any frogs or tadpoles -- probably too sunny up there.

Oh Brother wear art thou?
If the Dude moved from the 7092 to the 7820, it moved from the Conifer quad to the Evergreen Quad as well.
Us old tyme map guys look at the original paper docs.
