I see both of you have climbed this mountain, care to comment? did you get permission from the Shamballah-Ashrama community or just hike in from the east?

I hiked down the Shamballa Road from the county road junction to the first switchback. A short Bushwack N from the road up a gully will bring ouy out on top of the ridge above the houses. Turn right to summit.
High point is a boulder that can be frictioned when dry.

I hiked up from the south via a ridge and bushwacked to said summit that Mike Garratt describes. It was one of those winter scrambles and didn't see any threatening signage on the way up. My only caution and maybe this goes without saying is that by posting this information hopefully it is used with circumspection and doesn't create a problem for the owners or residents. I guess at the time I thought I was the only person that had any interest in wanting to tread on such a summit and no harm being done.
