Gable and "Gable Gate" possible mix-up

So I have a few questions about these in RMNP...

Mike and I did both of these today and believe that the 2 are mixed on here on LoJ. Although Lisa Foster's guide marks the eastern contour as the Gable, her description matches the other, higher summit that is marked here on LoJ as the "Gable Gate" in both height and difficulty. Here is the link to here book description...

I am not aware were the name "Gable Gate" has come from, but I noticed Gerry marked it as being 4th class. We climbed the eastern contour and discovered that is was loose and challenging 4th class, so have figured that it is what is supposedly the "Gable Gate".

Anybody else know anything about this?
