Teresa Gergen became the third completer of Rio Grande County Sunday Oct. 26th. The counties have fallen like dominoes for you lately now that the elevation lists have been conquered.
Ever think of trying to complete all wilderness peaks in the state?

Nice job Teresa! Rio Grande and Chaffee in the same month! That's awesome! What's the next county on the agenda?

Maybe Conejos...

I'm honing some peakbagger skills down here that I've let get rusty. :-D Still one more elevation list to deal with. I've been waiting for the right opportunity.

Ironically, I was just browsing through the Wilderness lists last night. There are 3 with technical peaks, but I might have to research the other remaining ones I haven't finished.

Congratulations. Sounds like you might need to do 9140 and 9300 after all.

Those ones you have left are all easy and enjoyable, especially this time of year... I wouldn't be surprised if you got them all in two days.

Congrats Teresa! Your new nick name is Teresa "the Finisher" Gergen! And don't chalk it up to being retired. Just admit it you are a super heroine!

Another one, good job Teresa! I guess when you've done all peaks above 10k the remainder on many county lists is small. Don't forget about Boulder county in your backyard, though a few take some genuine stealth. Do you still call Boulder home or are you a gypsy rambling peakbagger in your camper now? :) Don't most retirees play golf and shuffleboard? Ha, never for you I'm sure.

I have nine In Reach emails in my inbox, all sent throughout today. They all look suspiciously like the last 9 Conejos County peaks she needs. I wonder if she's still laughing?

Too tired to laugh. Started and finished in the dark for the last 9 in Conejos today. Thanks, everyone.
