Prominence and difficulty of Chimney Rock (Grand County)

Brian Kalet, Kessler (my son), and I just climbed Chimney Rock:

The topo map is misleading:

Chimney Rock isn't the point marked 10146, but is actually the next point south with the circled red dot. Chimney Rock really only has about 40 feet prominence.

Anyway, as far as difficulty goes, if you can do a serious squeeze in a crack, it may be only 4th class or 5.0 (it's a really unobvious route though). If you don't do the squeeze, I'd guess it's around 5.3 to 5.4 or so, but only a few moves. The rock is horrendously loose regardless of route. Unless you are tiny and can reverse the squeeze, you'll want to rappel.

Updated. Applied 4+ class rating - let me know if it makes more sense as 5.0 - what do you think Brian?

Kramarsic's guide states lower 5th, but 4+ is probably OK. I would have gotten a better sense of the difficulty if I downclimbed the route, but the marmot feces in the crack made the route unpleasant.
