Anyone have any beta on climbing Mt. Ridgway from Blaine Basin then following the connecting ridge over to Reconnoiter?

John Kirk,
Under Mt. Ridgway, you have 4 photos posted that may be helpful in deciding in how we try to do Ridgway/Reconnoiter. Would you be able to identify the perspective you have of the peak - where you're shooting from; what side of Ridgway you're seeing; etc.? Especially the second photo. I think that's looking at the ridge off Ridgway that connects to Reconnoiter.

That ridge goes fine. Best to do it from 12980 to Ridgway after coming in from Blaine Basin. Route is easier to find going up Ridgway. Not as bad as it looks on the topo. You can get back into Blaine Basin from the 13100 saddle S of Ridgway. Talus galore!
