Susan Paul & Doug Hatfield Complete Teller County!

A big congratulations to Susan Paul and Doug Hatfield who (within minutes of each other) became the 5th and 6th completers respectively of Teller County yesterday! And what a way to complete the list... on the Class 5.9 Teller High Point of McReynolds!

Any stories to tell? Your favorite summits? Your most difficult?

Thanks Kenton! To tell you the truth, I did so many of these so long ago - mostly in 2009 - they're kind of a blur now. When you mentioned it a few weeks ago, I had even forgotten that I was working on this list. I can't believe it took me this long to get back to it - for the last two peaks!

Doug is the story-teller... that guy has a ridiculous memory for every route, peak, rock, tree, rancher, farmer, dog, cat, ATV, barbed wire fence, shotgun, handgun, and what we ate on the summit, too.

I do remember Turkey Rock, Dome Rock, 9112, Dog Head, Twin Rocks, and 11510 - they were a lot of fun. And McReynolds Peak was the perfect finisher, so thanks for setting that up yesterday. Me and Doug have been talking about doing that one for years, and just never got around to it. We were lucky to have Stewart lead it for us, too, and you, Brian, Ben and Nick were great company.

Here's to more counties! Well, maybe just one more county. I'm tired!
