Can someone explain the high and low elevation deviation categories in stat leaders--I assume it has something to do with the standard deviation of the values for your peaks climbed, but i'm not sure. Since I climb both low peaks in Pa. and neighboring states and high peaks in New Mexico every year, I find I usually rank high on this list, so I'd like to understand the details.

That's correct - it is the standard deviation of elevation of peaks climbed. It's a good measure to see who is climbing variety vs. honing in on a particular elevation. Admittedly, there is a bias to the measure since elevations vary much more in the western US.
