Name Change

I recently changed my name in Lists of John from Vertical14000 to KentonB (to make it match my Username on other sites). Everything works fine in the main part of LoJ, but here on the forums, it doesn't recognize the name change (I have to log in again with my old Username). Am I doing something wrong? I couldn't find a way to change it in the forums.

As a side note, is there a means of submitting corrections to the site? I found one YDS Class rating that was incorrect (Chautauqua has a trail all the way to the summit and should be a Class 1, not 2), and a few peaks whose locations are slightly off.

Thanks!

-Kent

This is where you need to go to change your forum username:
http://listsofjohn.com/board/ucp.php?i=profile&mode=reg_details
You can get there from the Forum->User Control Panel->Profile->Edit Account Settings (use ctrl+f on the page to find if you can't locate the links described above).

As far as corrections, it is best to email me or use this form:
http://listsofjohn.com/Members/question.php <- accessed from your updates page http://listsofjohn.com/Members/main.php. Bear in mind that some locations may appear off depending on the provider's accuracy of the map overlay tiles, so it is a good idea to check multiple sources first. For example, the Panorama Peak quad in CO is improperly scanned by MyTopo, but is correct on Terraserver:
MyTopo:
http://listsofjohn.com/PeakStats/QMap.php?lat=40.3374&lon=-105.4848&z=15&t=m
Same coords using Terraserver:
http://listsofjohn.com/PeakStats/QMap.php?lat=40.3374&lon=-105.4848&z=15&t=u

Thanks

John, thanks for the quick reply. I've been to the "Edit Account Settings" page, but the Username is not an editable field. It simply displays my current Username as text (static). I've tried entering the page both from Firefox and IE with no luck... and poked around quite a bit to find a way to change the Username, but there simply doesn't seem to be a way.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
