Ah, I see it, that picture does fit that ridge well so it could be the ridge and not 7420. I always called that ridge "boulder ridge" in my mind because of all the massive boulders there, very cool place. I only did 7860 once since I preferred 7420 because of the scrambling. 7860 had a very broad flat summit, however there is a small summit boulder may be 8-10 feet high. There is a smaller boulder under it making it a very easy (class 2+?) scramble. Being on the boulder gets you above the scrubby trees in the area. Views are the same as 7420 for the most part. Three Gun is nice, especially in winter because it stays so warm. That route would add a bit of mileage I think but if you're looking for a change of scenery it would be good. 7860 would also be doable from Embudo since the trail along boulder ridge eventually hits Embudo up higher but that would be a longer hike.
