log or comment field

I am new to this site, love it! I would find it extremely helpful if it were possible to leave a comment or "log" when I check off a mountain. This would be something much less than a trip report, more personal notes about a hike/climb.

Not sure. I guess if I click on a trip report I expect something more substantial than "Chuck and I had a great time, got to the top in 3 hours". I would not want to clutter up the trip reports with my own personal notes. It could public or have a check box to choose.

Easiest option would be to add comments in your own offline file available from "download your peak list" link after logging in. Let me think about adding a way for users to input comments by peak as a field that shows up in this download.
