county maps

After multiple tries, I still can't put together the right sequence of links to locate the maps which show each climber's progress toward completing each Colorado county. I know they're still in here somewhere, but I also know you (John) have recentlky added some new complexity to the website...Uncle! How do I find them??

If you're looking for a statewide map, that has been removed.

Dang and oh crud! I was looking for map showing the whole state. I thought it was cool; I remember how motivated I was to get the peak that gave me my first "50%" colored-in county! Can we have 'em back?

It's going to take some time - I have some other projects going. The main problem is this was not set up to work for all states, and used GD library (a php library) which may or may not have support in the future. I'd like to make something that works for all states and uses google maps - I'll have something up before the end of March probably.

Thanks, John. I certainly didn't mean to sound whiney--Everyone, including me, appreciates the expertise and effort you put into this site. (I just sort of had a personal attachment to those colored maps...)

Would it only be me who would be interested in having a couple of boxes that you could optionally type in, so that, in addition to specifying the state and the person's name, you could have the map come up with only the ranked peaks in a given elevation range? Like, show a map with all the ranked peaks in CO that are >= 10000 ft and < 12000 ft, indicating as is done currently which I've climbed and which I haven't on the map. Then, if I know someone's working on a county, and I'm working on an elevation list, I can easily see which peaks I have left in that county in my elevation range, and see if they've done them or not by clicking on the flag to get the peak profile. John, would this be easy or hard? Certainly wouldn't be worth much time if no one else would use it.
