TOPO MAP UPDATES

Postby DSunwall » Tue Aug 04, 2009 11:19 am

I have updated all of Colorado with the latest USGS TOPO! maps, I am now doing Montana, but have forgotten how to get around the password. It seems there was one simple pswrd that works but I can't remember it, anybody know?

The password would be whatever you set your Mapxchange password to be, regardless of state. I think you can use password recovery/reset or create a new Mapxchange account. If you need to activate MT as a product, you can do so by inserting any disc that has TOPO! MT data on it to bypass password activation. I can send you the MT activation code if you need it.

I'm not off to a good start here, I googled mapxchange, it took me to the TI map page, but nothing there says Mapxchange, search their site for Mapxchange comes up with nothing. No place to log in????

I did successfully load MT Topo! without a password. Search for something in MT didn't work because it couldn't find the installer disk one or some dam thing. TOPO! love it, hate it.

EDIT: one of my old standard passwords worked!
