Hey John,

Do we no longer have access to the topo maps through topozone? i tried a few this morning and they take me to trails.com. the only way to access info on that site is to be a member of trails.com.

Any news on what may be happening?

Ah, too bad! I had a feeling that such a good thing wouldn't last forever. They were serving up a ton of imagery for free, and I doubt their subscription service was covering the bills.

Perhaps John can integrate the site with ACME Mapper?

Well the links seem to be working again, though Trails.com hampers your ability to resize ("available to subscribers only!") and adds a watermark if you click to recenter the map.

Sorry I missed this thread. As you may have noticed, I built a custom google map links for saddles and summits on the peak profile pages that show 40' contours. I don't like how slow ACME is and it doesn't have the correct coverage for some areas in CA and ME.

I'd still like to see a link to the ACME site for each peak, even if it is slow. I prefer the USGS maps over the Google Earth contours. Perhaps there could be two map links for each peak, once to ACME and one to Google Earth page.

I put in another link for Acme, so you can choose your poison. There are some pretty nasty errors with google maps. Take a look at this page for Navajo Peak 13,409':
