I received sad news this afternoon that related the passing of Adam in a fire at his condominium in San Diego.

Hi Doug,

I just saw this in the COHP email digest. Just awful news :-( I did not know Adam but I read the newsletter almost daily, and have really enjoyed all his posts, and what he did for the highpointing community with his site and his stories. What a terrible loss. So very sorry to hear this.
