Unclimbed map

Postby Swithich » Sat May 18, 2013 5:10 pm

Is there a quick way to change the url and turn a generated list into a map?

Specifically I'd like to be able to see the unclimbed map for the peaks of New Mexico. Or better yet a "closest unclimbed peaks" map.

Thanks in advance.

I've added an option to the closest "n" peaks map using 'All' as a member in the member drop-down. This will only display peaks not climbed yet.
Here's an example using Albuquerque area coordinates:

Awesome! That is what I was looking for. The form isn't set to save coordinates from one instance (say I change n=50 to n=100) to another. Just an fyi for anyone using it.

Unfortunately, I just gave Jack Shiver a tool to go beat me to more peaks. Lets hope he doesn't read the forums too often. :P

Link now seems to be http://listsofjohn.com/50map?lat=35.116 ... member=All

Can you change it so that if there are less than 50 results (for example) it will still show the ones it finds. Right now it gives an error and you have to keep reducing the n= parameter to get the query to work

Give it a go now - should do as described.
