Congratulations, John!
I'm curious if you all agree that the southern contour of Rice Peak is higher than the northern...

Brian,

My GPS read 2 feet higher on the northern summit on Saturday. I sent this info to Rich Wilson and he replied to me on Sunday night that his read was 7 feet higher on the north and Ron Moe's was 1 foot higher on the North.

Thanks, Al.

I didn't own a level or GPS back in 2008, so I was going merely on observation.
I'm guessing its appropriate to change the summit back to the spot elevation.
Any real peakbagger is going to tag both contours anyway... :worms:

Sorry to bear this news, but I more thoroughly checked the county again for any missing summits, and I came up with two:

The missing peaks:
6220
6301

I've had the help of many people looking at maps over the years but in some areas it has been more quiet.

Any interesting scrambles along the way in your pursuit of the Douglas list?

Congrats to John Ide for finishing the two new additions on 12/3

Personally, I still have 6 ranked ones to go, but I'd have to say the best scrambles in the county are all unranked. Castle Rock, Cave Rock, and Shakespeare Point all have class 5 sections if you don't go up the easiest route, and even at that Castle Rock I think is more around 5.3, but I just called it hard class 4 since that was the rating that I was told. Captain Pomin Rock I'll call the hardest ranked one if not on the easiest route.
