Just an FYI. There is a very large sign with VERY LARGE print telling people there is "no unathorized entry" along the road that runs up to Carrizo Mtn. It seems there is a new mining operation going on at the top of the mesa/mountain. There is a phone number (sorry I didn't get it) on the sign saying visitors must call ahead and be registered. Seems they are okay with visitors, they just want to know about them beforehand.
