Congrats on getting what must be a seldom climbed summit! (Although someone is stacking wood up there?) Any guess when the southern county hp roads might open up - July 1st?

The stack of wood was really old and about 1' x 1' - 7 or 8 pieces of aspen about an inch thick - a 'wood cairn'. Oddly enough there is a rock cairn a few hundred yards and about 100' lower to the south marking a 5' rise on the slope - a pet grave or something?

Hopefully the roads to county highpoints will be open soon - Bennett actually looked bare and accessible from the east (then from the south 4x4 road). That was a long way from Pagosa Springs, so I didn't bother. The Summitville road was closed at Summitville, so access from the west was not possible.
