Automated Completion maps

Ever get tired of filling in counties with mspaint? After much programming, I have created an automated county completion map image generator. Now all Members' progress is viewable in map form:

Those are very cool, John. Does your program generate the map on the fly?

That is a little incentive to start coloring yellow, maybe a weekend trip to the east for some quick crayon work.

Yes, basically, the script I wrote creates png images based on queries to the database to return a fill color, text color, and border color for each county's polygonal coordinates if a member has completed them or not. Thus, for example there are 64 queries for Colorado and an if else statement for each one. If the id of the county can be found in the database given the member specified, the polygon is filled yellow with a black border and black text. If not, the polygon is blank with white text and a yellow border. The only real work involved is specifying the coordinates for the polygons for each state's counties. I'm working on Idaho right now - not an easy one since the counties are shaped so irregularly.
