On April 28 Brian Kalet became the 1st known person to complete the 11 ranked peaks of Laramie County, Wyoming. Brian finished the list on UN 7606.

Congratulations on this successful completion Brian! What can you tell us about this list? Any public peaks out there? Very difficult access?

I believe every peak lies on private property. The most troublesome peak was 7606. John, Steve & I attempted access from the east via the Lorenz Ranch where we were greeted by a rancher. When we asked permission to access the peak, he responded, "There's no hikin' over there." I ended up hiking it from the Medicine Bow National Forest boundary 4 miles west of the peak...

I'm glad you finally got that last peak Brian. Congrats on finishing the whole county. I wonder if you are the first to complete any county in Wyoming?

Looks like John Kirk completed this list in 5/14/2017 and David Johnson completed this list on 6/4/2017. Not too many finishers for only 11 peaks...
