Finally got some quad analysis stuff together, before the years end. Quad highpoints, Quad lowpoints, and other measures. This is just preliminary work, not yet error checked.

San Juans and Yellowstone areas available so far. More on the way in 2011. Safe to say digital models are the present and future of cartography and much geographic research in general.

Thanks to John for the google quad maps on this site, which have been helpful with verification.

Ran numbers on nearly all Colorado quads west of I-25. So, which Colorado quad has the most elevation change overall?

Depends on how it's measured. Two seperate methods(Surface Area Ratio and Tile Variation) yielded the same quad in the top spot: Vail East.
