Contiguous U.S. Highest 1000!!

Postby John Kirk » Tue Oct 16, 2007 1:12 pm

I have wrapped up my work for CA's 12ers and up, and together with the complete ranked peak lists for CO, NM, UT, WY, and a few stragglers in WA and NV, the first list of the Contiguous US highest 1000 peaks is ready. The cutoff is 12,866'.

Here's a breakdown of peaks by state:

Excellent, John! It'd be interesting to also see columns in the above table for the highest 50, 100, 200, 500.

Nice work John.

Does this new list include many CA peaks that weren't on previously published lists?

The 13ers were listed, however with differing interpretations (not inherently from maps). The 12ers have not been listed except where they occur on other lists such as Aaron's P500 list (most of the P500s, anyway - I found some new ones).
