Last Highpoint Photo- Harney Peak 7,242' 10/18/03

My wife and I got away to explore a good part of Southwestern South Dakota and acquired Harney Peak 10/18/03.

Potentially the last hike for me this year due to knee problems, Kings Peak was a challenge to attain while injured 08/17/03.

Winter(like) climbing strikes again - Wheeler Peak gave us a hard time 04/12/03.

I had a nice retreat from winter climbing with my wife on 03/08/03 on a hike up Black Mesa in Oklahoma.

My Father and I hiked to the summit of Guadalupe Peak 12/22/02.

Why am I doing this too?

picture After completing many of Colorado's Fourteeners, now finished, I realized that sooner or later I would run out of new peaks to climb. I have had a good time climbing out of state thus far, and I have a desire for more challenging peaks that the rest of the U.S. has to offer. picture
