After an unplanned ascent of Skull Rock owing to the Rampart Range Road closure, I had time for another named summit before heading home. At 11:40 a.m. I parked on a large dirt lot on the west side of Mount Lindo in Tiny Town. There is a good trail all the way up to the saddle of Lindo and its southern unnamed but ranked neighbor. On the right is a view of the trail about halfway up and the deteriorating weather. At the saddle, about 400' of vertical gain still remains heading straight north, navigating scrub oak thicket at times. The summit is rather indistinct (photo below) as with many Denver Area foothill summits. I was expecting some steepness or rocky areas given some descriptions of the area, but this was just a mellow trail hike followed by easy bushwhacking on a gentle grassy slope. The ranked summit to the south was tempting, but there is another unnamed, ranked summit south of that, which would pose the same temptation. I was hungry anyway, and got home just before it started to snow.
