| Another trip out to the low country. Weather was pretty horrendous for anything else, and I had an errand to run in Colorado Springs. It was cold even at 5,000'. The drive out on 94 East was about as uneventful as one would imagine. The description in Covill & Mitchler's book was dead-on. The top of the rise was easy to spot, and the pullout by the fence served as the final verification of my whereabouts. A quick photo and I was heading back to Arvada. | > |
