Guy Hill & Belcher Hill 03/06/2005

After scouting around for a resonable access point to Centralia Mountain, Mt. Tom, or The Blackhawk and Douglas Mountain pair for a couple hours and circumnavigating the latter pair, I finally gave up and decided to do some quick tagging of at least something. Guy Hill was the first. Access was interesting. In any event, I ascended .22 miles from the west in high wind and returned quickly. On the right, Douglas Mountain looms above to the west. Guy's Summit
Belcher's Summit'Still wanting more, I headed back down Golden Gate Canyon, then north on the White Ranch Park road a few miles to very near the summit of Belcher Hill. Access was a little more straight-forward here. I parked .3 miles from the summit, walked up the road, and went in between some lots. I dropped my GPS here, but soon found it again. The summit rocks were quite manageable. On top there is the Belcher benchmark. Did I hear a burp? Oddly it does not appear on any maps.
