"Rocky Flats" 5,845' - Broomfield County Highpoint 08/13/03

Leah and I were going to meet up with some friends in Broomfield for some drinks and food, so we decided to make a diversion and head up Indiana Street to the highpoint of the relatively newly formed Broomfield County. We got out at the intersection of CO 128 and Indiana and walked maybe 20 steps to the highest point of dirt in the unfenced Southeast corner of the intersection. The view was unsurprisingly better than Kipling and Belleview (Denver County Highpoint). The walk back to the car was uneventful. In fact the entire day was, including work. picture
