Leah and I settled for an easy hike close to home after discouraging weather of late. This was a fun hike and not bad excercise since it does involve over 2,000' of gain and had some distance to it. A little snow still existed on the trail for the last mile or so. This trail sees a lot of traffic, but was enjoyable nonethless for being so close to Denver. There are great views of Mount Evans from the top.
