I have completed Colorado's 14ers. I hope to add something to this section after getting out to California in 2005.
Knee problems halted my plans to climb Middle Palisade, Shasta, and White Mountain Peak in 2003. 2005 should pan out better. The report for Whitney is here

Why am I doing this too?

picture Many of California's peaks are technical by their easiest routes. This aspect gives me a higher level of mountaineering craft to apsire to, which is exciting. Living in Colorado makes it somewhat difficult to climb in California often. Hopefully, I will visit for longer periods of time to bag several peaks per visit.
