| This was really a failed attempt at Grizzly Peak. I have never seen this much snow in June, and the photo on the rightr shows the best weather of the day. It was also cold enough that it may has well have been March. The clouds came in to do more of their dirty work just after summiting "Cupid". I made it to the low saddle below Grizzly before heading back. The ridge was really tricky just below "Cupid" with each step requiring tests for how deep the snow-filled gaps in the talus were. |
