 Updates (as of 4/18/06)

I decided to make the most of the last weekend of winter 03/18/06 with a hike of Kelso Mountain.
Hoosier Ridge & Red Mountain C made for another good winter outing 03/04/06.
A good weather weekend for a thirteener: Mount Lady Washington 02/26/06.
Ryan and Erin were in state over the holidays and we managed to bag Hunts Peak 01/14/06.
Layne Bracy joined me for a wintry outing on Lenawee Mountain 10/29/05.
I had one more easy hike before the snow flew with Mount Wilcox and Otter Mountain 10/08/05.
Another windy day near the Divide was endured to bag Mount Audubon and Paiute Peak 09/17/05.
A quick hike on the Continental Divide netted Santa Fe Peak, and 12ers Revenue and Decatur 09/10/05.
After finishing Colorado's County Highpoints on "East Crestone", I picked up Antora Peak the following morning 09/04/05.
I joined Kurt and Dwight for one of Kurt's last centennials 08/27/05 to bag "Thunder Pyramid" & Point 13,722'.
A four-day excursion 08/12/05 - 08/15/05 included Vermilion Peak, a wedding and Hesperus Mountain & Lavender Peak.

Ptarmigan After completing many of Colorado's Fourteeners, I realized that sooner or later I would run out of new peaks to climb. While there are several new routes I could and probably will explore on fourteeners, there are many undiscovered treasures climbing thirteeners as well. These peaks are often more remote and see less foot travel. Climbing often takes on better form in light of this.13ers2
