November 13, 1982

Paul Braun fell after ascending an ice climb 45 feet above his last placed protection, which held. He suffered back injuries and was able to hike out with help from his partner.

December 16, 1982

Michael Dorsey twisted his knee while descending and ended up taking 3 days to reach the trailhead at Grand Lake on the opposite side from where he started.

November 6, 1997

Chris Chierello was leading an ice route while his partner was belaying him and an ice tool failed. His partner Mark Keating was pulled up and injured his shoulder while Chierello fell 30 feet and broke his ankle. They were rescued as other climbers in the area witnessed the accident.

November 15, 1998

Richard Ladue was free-soloing an ice climb and fell 100 feet to the ground and died en-route to the trailhead while being rescued from massive head trauma.
