Katie Kemble was belaying Ric Hatch on a practice face on Ophir Wall when a large rock from above severed her leg off below the knee. She was carried out by hatch while she carried her leg. Edward Enlow Jr was descending Lookout Mountain late in the day with his wife, when he started a glissade that avalanched. He was carried in the debris over a cliff and died upon impact from a freefall.Source: Accidents in North American Mountaineering, 1992
