1962

Bob LaGrange was with a group of friends intending to climb the Carson City Buttress underneath the Royal Gorge bridge. LaGrange ran out of holds on one of the last pitches, and fell to a ledge, breaking his leg. He was hauled up by his group after they made the ascent. He was taken to Canon City hospital.

October 12, 2005

Robert Dodge was hiking off-trail near Locke Mountain when he fell 30-40 feet, suffering a broken wrist, ankle, and head injuries. He was rescued that evening after his friend called 911.
