September 8, 1962

Susan Greene was practicing self-arrests on a snowfield when the adze of her ice axe struck her in the head. The ice axe struck being attached to a leash after she lost her grip.

June 23, 2001

An unknown male was climbing at the 13,000' level when rockfall caused a deep leg laceration. He was later rescued.

June 12, 2004

An unknown male was descending a north-facing couloir when he slipped and cartwheeled down the snow onto exposed rock, fracturing his lower leg and perhaps sustained back and neck injuries. He was carriedout by other hikers and was rescued.
